JUNE 29, 2009 - Have you ever given thought to the reasons for your goals? If you haven't really given thought to the why, it may very well be keeping you from the how and the when. Knowing the reasons for your goals makes them more real and more tangible for you. Your reasons justify why each goal is important to you and worth pursuing. Defining your reasons helps you better prioritize your goals and also helps you see shared reasons for different goals. And herein lies the secret behind synergy — allowing your reasons to help you achieve more goals at once.
Take an MM&I Moment to revisit your goals for 2009, both personal and work related. Write down all of your reasons for each goal separately. Then use at least one of these reasons to propel you into action!
Synergized Quote of the Week: Your present circumstances don't determine where you can go. They merely determine where you start. – Nido Qubein
