SLD Unlimited Creativity Shines at the 2007 BMA ProAd Awards

 Charlotte, NC – The Business Marketing Association of the Carolinas recently awarded SLD Unlimited Marketing/PR, Inc four silver ProAd awards.  The awards were given for the firm’s creative graphic design and branding solutions for the following clients:  Lincoln Economic Development Association, Southern Living at Home and Avantgarde Translations.  In addition, SLD Unlimited Marketing/PR, Inc was honored with an award for its own branding in the self promotion category.  The awards were presented at the Charlotte Chapter’s annual awards event in September at the Mint Museum.

The first Silver award was for the direct mail single printed mailing piece for Lincoln Economic Development Association, for the organization’s invitation for its annual Stakeholder’s Event yacht excursion.

The second award was for Avantgarde Translations Corporate identity package.  Avantgarde’s branding graphic was influenced by the company’s five pronged approach to translation.  The package establishes a viable brand graphic, positioning and messaging, which further distinguishes and sets Avantgarde apart from national and international competition.

The third award was also in the Corporate Identity category for Southern Living at Home.  The stationery package was designed to better position this division of Southern Living at Home to the business-to-business marketplace as a resource for fundraising, events, employee gifts, and employee incentives.  A highlight of the package was a standard business card which was transformed into a mini-promotional piece.

The fourth award went to SLD Unlimited Marketing/PR, Inc. in the category of Agency Promotional Materials for SLD Unlimited Marketing/PR, Inc.  SLD Unlimited Marketing/Pr, Inc. was awarded a Silver ProAd award for their “Serenity. Longevity. Destiny.” promotion.  Serenity, Longevity, and Destiny mugs as well as the Swirls wine coolers were custom designed to be given out to clients throughout the year as a follow up to their New Year’s greeting introducing the branding message.
